Reviewer: DVD Talk | Overall | Movie | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 24 May 2010 | Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker can be charming under the right conditions, but clearly not with each other on-screen and under this type of scripting. Did You Hear About the Morgans?, as a result, is uncomfortably void of laughs and chemistry, even though it tries without relent to make it all work. There are several other variations on the urbanites-in-rural-America theme, and I urge you to seek those out long before venturing into this boggled comedy. Skip It. (Read Full Review)

Reviewer: Blu-ray.com | Overall | Movie | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 10 April 2010 | Did You Hear About the Morgans? earns a few scattered chuckles, but many viewers will probably find themselves laughing at the movie rather than with it. Either that or they'll simply roll their eyes and wonder how a movie that earned a wide theatrical release and featuring several name stars could possibly be this unoriginal. Did You Hear About the Morgans is one of those movies that will work when the mood calls for completely mindless entertainment or for someone that hasn't seem too many movies, but cinephiles won't get much out of this one. Sony's Blu-ray release of Did You Hear About the Morgans is solid if not a bit unspectacular. The picture quality isn't eye-catching but it's not particularly bad, either, and the lossless soundtrack is fine for what's required of it. The supplements are average and constructed mostly of filler material, making this a disc that's best enjoyed as a rental. (Read Full Review)

Reviewer: DoBlu.com | Movie | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 20 March 2010 | You know that moment in romantic comedies where the two leads come to the realization that, yes, they were meant for each other after going through a series of misadventures? Did You Hear About the Morgans has one, mostly because as a whole it is as generic as they come, but that’s not why it is special. It is important because of how absolutely god awful it is. Reviewer: Big Picture Big Sound | Overall | Movie | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 16 March 2010 | It's lighthearted, it's fun, but alas, it's not much more than that. The film is entertaining for those who like Sarah Jessica Parker and her signature surprise scream, and Hugh Grant's charming babble. But as a Blu-ray it isn't likely you'll be asking about the Morgans again and again. (Read Full Review)

Reviewer: High-Def Digest | Overall | Movie | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 16 March 2010 | Hugh Grant is reunited with Marc Lawrence for their third romcom feature with Sarah Jessica Parker also in the lead. 'Did You Hear About the Morgans?' fails in both the romance and comedy departments, instead delivering an abysmal mess of a plot which plays everything too strictly by the numbers. The Blu-ray comes with good picture quality, a better audio presentation, and a decent selection of bonus material. For fans, the purchase will be satisfying, everyone else will want to avoid this comedic disaster. (Read Full Review)

Reviewer: DVD Town | Overall | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 13 March 2010 | "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" has one, maybe two viewings to its shelf life. As a whole, it is mildly entertaining and quite harmless. Its main characters, however, drastically underperform, and the entire film suffers in the end. The format is predictable and lacks originality, despite potential generated by supporting cast members and some creative contrasts. (Read Full Review)

Reviewer: DVD Talk | Overall | Movie | HD Video | HD Audio | Date Reviewed: 9 March 2010 | For the climax, "Morgans" maneuvers Paul and Meryl into a flimsy bull costume (Paul's the ass, of course) to elude certain doom, making this excruciating feature film possibly the worst "Laverne and Shirley" episode of all time. I'm not sure what entertainment itch "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" is supposed to scratch, but as an obnoxious, poorly performed, and distastefully executed comedy, it's the bottom of the barrel.
